Ready to try your first class?

I have never done martial arts or dance. Can I still participate?

Yes. No experience is necessary.

Many teens start Capoeira with no martial arts or dance background at all. Our intro class is designed for beginners and focuses on learning the basics in a fun, supportive and safe environment.

Students build confidence, coordination and strength while learning Capoeira movements, music and teamwork.

If you have any health concerns, we recommend checking with your physician before starting any physical activity.

How can I prepare for my first class?

It’s important you arrive early (minimum 15 minutes) to familiarize yourself with our Academy and instructors and fill out a waiver form. You may also want to try following along one of our videos here to get bit of a head start on your first class
