What to wear: Long pants (sweat pants) and a shirt that you are comfortable enough to move around in.

I have never done martial arts or dance. Can I still participate?

Yes. No experience is necessary.

Our Family Intro Class is designed for complete beginners. Parents and kids learn together in a fun and supportive environment where everyone can move, play and explore Capoeira at their own pace.

Many families start with no background in martial arts or dance and quickly discover how engaging and enjoyable Capoeira can be.

If you have any health concerns, we recommend consulting your physician before starting any physical activity.

How can I prepare for my first class?

It’s important you arrive early (minimum 15 minutes) to familiarize yourself with our Academy and instructors and fill out a waiver form. You may also want to try following along one of our videos here to get bit of a head start on your first class
